Menopause training for healthcare professionals

Menopause management demands both theoretical knowledge and clinical experience. Despite some inclusion in medical curricula, healthcare professionals often lack sufficient training. Our platform aims to bridge this gap by providing accessible resources for professionals seeking to enhance their skills in menopause care.

Drawing from the expertise and guidelines outlined in "The Essential Menopause Curriculum for Healthcare Professionals," a 2022 position statement by the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS), we're committed to revolutionizing menopause education.

To better understand the current state of menopause education in professional training, we invite you to participate in our survey. Did the curriculum for your professional training include menopause? Share your experience with us! The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. The results will be published on the EMAS website.

Training programs for healthcare professionals worldwide should include menopause and postmenopausal health in their curriculum. It should include assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based management strategies.
