Topical estrogens and non-hormonal preparations for postmenopausal vulvovaginal atrophy: An EMAS clinical guide

Vulvovaginal atrophy is a chronic condition caused by estrogen deficiency which affects around 50% of postmenopausal women.  EMAS has published a clinical guide on the use of both topical estrogens and non-hormonal lubricants and moisturizers so that treatment can be individualized.
